Free CMS (Content Management System) Guide

CMS GuideSubtitled A Guide to Evaluating, Implementing and Deploying Content Management System, this pocket guide will help you go through the process of choosing, purchasing and implementing a content management system. And, it’s free.

For those who don’t know a CMS (content management system) is the term used to describe software that is used to manage web, intranet, or internet content. CMS’s can be used to set up blogs, easily allow participation and input from employees (or anyone you choose), used to create knowledgebases, etc.

The general idea behind a CMS is that it allows people with no knowledge of html or web design to post information. Various permissions and user levels can be used to protect information.

In fact, this blog is a small example of a CMS (although it’s rather limited). CMS’s (or Content Management Systems) can be used to deliver training, create business websites, allow input from customers and much more.

Learn more about these information management systems with this free, not string guide, and find out how to evaluate specific CMS’s, plan their implementation, and implement them.
